Robbie Reyes is a version of the Marvel Comics character Ghost Rider. This iteration first appeared in the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Reyes is a young mechanic living in East Los Angeles, struggling to provide for his disabled younger brother, Gabe. He participates in street races to earn money, but becomes entangled with a dangerous gang.
After being murdered during a heist gone wrong, Reyes is resurrected and imbued with the spirit of vengeance. This spirit transforms him into the Ghost Rider, granting him superhuman strength, durability, and the ability to summon and control hellfire.
Unlike some previous Ghost Riders, Reyes's transformation involves a vehicle. He drives a black 1969 Dodge Charger, nicknamed "Hell Charger", which becomes engulfed in flames and imbued with the same powers as Reyes himself. He does not have a skull that is on fire, but rather a helmet like skull which is pad printed.
As Ghost Rider, Robbie seeks to punish the wicked and protect his community. He eventually crosses paths with S.H.I.E.L.D., leading to both alliances and conflicts as they grapple with his methods and the forces he battles.
